A Coordinated Effort Of Assistance

Information provided by AIM, Assn. For Interactive Media/DMA

If you are still concerned about someone missing in New York City and need information, call: 212-741-4626 or 866-856-4167 or go to the Official WTC Victims Web site: http://nyc.gov/html/em/find.html

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

1. Donate funds and resources

Support the charities and causes that are managing the funding and logistics of the rescue and relief efforts:

What you can do as an individual

Donate funds as a business:

In addition to the above causes, you can work with DMA/AIM to offer a coordinated financial contribution. In order to make this financial contribution through the DMA/AIM, contact Lorraine Zitone at 212-768-7277 x 1650 or e-mail dberger@the-dma.org

3. Donate business services to help those in need:

To assist with these or any other option you can think of, contact the charities directly or reply to this e-mail and we will initiate a message board/e-mail list here to discuss the coordinated DMA/AIM response.

4. Donating business services for your corporate colleagues:

If you are a displaced business looking for aid from the city, state, or federal government, please call 212-818-1700. Many of our corporate colleagues have been displaced by the tragedy and may be in need  of your support. Please assist by contacting Lorraine Zitone at 212 768 7277 x 1650 or e-mail dberger@the-dma.org with any business assistance, including:

5. Getting active in the "Next Phase" of assistance, the ongoing relief efforts:

Twenty-five percent of charitable donations in this country are raised by direct marketing efforts. This industry can make a much greater difference than many may recognize by providing marketing resources, including:

To donate any of these, please contact Lorraine Zitone at 212 768 7277 x 1650 or e-mail dberger@the-dma.org. Together we can make a difference. We are a strong and vibrant community with great heart and professional expertise to give to those who now need it most. The interactive community and the larger American community will show the world how strong our Nation is today and will be in coming days.
