Emergency response/relief efforts
American Red Cross, blood supply:
The American Red Cross is in need of blood to replenish the
nation's supply. Call 1-800-HELP-NOW to schedule an appointment near where you
live.

New York Blood Center, blood supply:
The New York Blood Center has also announced a blood emergency
for the greater New York/New Jersey metropolitan area. Visit www.nybloodcenter.org

United Way, donations:
The United Way of New York and the New York Community Trust have
established a fund to help the victims of the attacks and their families. The
September Eleventh Fund will provide immediate support to established emergency
assistance agencies. Anyone wishing to contribute may send their donations in
care of United Way, 2 Park Ave, New York, New York, 10016 or call: 212-251-4035.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
1. Donate funds and
resources
Support the charities and causes that are managing the funding and logistics
of the rescue and relief efforts:
What you can do as an individual:
If you are in NYC: the relief workers, displaced persons, and victims need material goods including work boots, socks, underwear, general clothing, food, water, and anything else you can think of. You may bring such goods to any shelter or Red Cross center.

To assist with these or any other
option you can think of, contact the charities directly or reply to this e-mail
and we will initiate a message board/e-mail list here to discuss the coordinated
DMA/AIM response.

If you are a displaced business looking for aid from the city, state, or federal government, please call 212-818-1700. Many of our corporate colleagues have been displaced by the tragedy and may be in need of your support.
