Mike the Deadbeat
Veteran comedian, Mike, is having problems paying his debt.
So what does he do? He turns conversations with his creditors into a
comedy album. In the tradition of the jerky boys, Mike the Deadbeat, will
knock you off your seat laughing at the absurdities people say over the phone -
mainly Mike. You will not believe some of the things he dares to say and
more so, the responses he receives. What makes it all the funnier is
that it's real.
You can check out samples from the CD online at the website, mikethedeadbeat.com,
it makes for a terrific holiday gift! You'll laugh your ass off. So
check it out.

Sarah Jane Cion is an exciting player on the New York jazz scene. In addition to her many awards, she's the winner of the 1999 Great American Jazz Piano competition. Sarah Jane's music is a wonderful feast of moods and magic. I've known Sarah for many years and watched her career develop from its early stages to its full blown state of sophistication, talent, and triumph. You can sample Sarah's music, buy her CD and get information on gigs on her site, www.sarahjanecion.com.
Joe Deveau Band
Joe Deveau and his band are
"funky-piano-driven-pop musicians". You may catch them around
the Boston area as they frequently gig at clubs like The Kendall Cafe,
Harper's Ferry, O' Brien's Pub, to name a few. I had the pleasure of
hearing Joe play when he was just in high school. He's unbelievably
talented. If you live in or happen to be in the Boston area, don't miss
the Joe Deveau Band. You can listen to
samples from
his CD,

Singer/songwriter/gunslinger Mark Latham’s airy,
raspy, two tone vocal crossed with his guitar first attitude will widen the eyes
of even the harshest and most jaded cynics.
As a native of Boston, MA, Latham's ability of musical and lyrical talent stems
from an early exposure to music. With a diversified style of rock, pop, blues
and hip-hop music, Latham eludes the listener’s temptation to pigeon-hole him
into a single category playing 80 percent of the disc’s instrumentation.
While it is hard to compare his music to a specific genre or artist, the music
remains powerful in it’s diversity.

Shakked and featuring a local All-Star cast including the likes of Lyle Workman
(Beck) and Artie Web (Johnny Polanco Band) The Tao Of Groove borrows from World
Music, Lounge, Hip-Hop, Jazz and Classical Music creating an original sound of
undeniable force.

yayo jones
yayo jones are one of the coolest
funky hip bands on the LA scene. We love these guys! I've watched
them plug it out in small venues like Molly Malone's as they gained popularity
and momentum and now regulary gig and hot LA venues like the House of
Blues. Their sound
reminds me almost of a quieted down 70s funk bad soulful before their
time. They are truly a band to watch out for. To hear
their sounds, more info on gigs and to buy their CD check their site, yayojones.com
